DAY 1 COOBER PEDY
Depart Melbourne this morning and land directly at the back door of Muloorina Station on the edge of Lake Eyre for lunch and to witness this spectacular station. Then you’ll continue to the remote outpost of Coober Pedy, famous for the largest opal ever found. Spend the evening sipping on sparkling wine overlooking the Breakaways Range - tonight you sleep underground like the locals.

DAY 2 ALICE SPRINGS
After a brief flight enjoy an easy walk into Standley Chasm - a natural quartzite alleyway formed by surging flood water. Then visit the Desert Park open-range zoo. this afternoon there is time to explore the art shops in town and the Royal Flying Doctor Service.

Spend two days with private cruises on the Rockhole Billabong and Shady Camp in the Mary River Wetlands abundant in bird, marine and wild life - this place has to be seen to be believed. Try fishing for a 1 metre plus barramundi with a local expert!

After breakfast fly directly to Berkeley River Lodge, one of the last true wilderness areas on Earth and located between Timor Sea sunrises and Berkeley River sunsets. In the next 2 days you will enjoy a helicopter flight up to the King George Falls and a Berkeley River Gorge Cruise spotting native flora and fauna along the way.
