Day 1 The Dig Tree and Birdsville Board Air Adventure’s Outback Jet in Melbourne for the quick flight up to the Dig Tree, made famous by the Burke & Wills Expedition. Land right alongside the banks of the Cooper Creek and enjoy a picnic lunch at the very site of Camp 65 before departing for the iconic outback outpost of Birdsville. Enjoy a cold drink from your ‘perch’ in the bar of the colourful Birdsville Hotel, your home for the night.
Accommodation: Birdsville Hotel

Days 2 & 3 Mount Borradaile, Arnhem Land Leaving Birdsville behind, fly over central Australia; the speed of the Outback Jet will have you in Arnhem Land in time for lunch! You will be staying at Max Davidson’s Mount Borradaile Lodge which is within a Registered Sacred Site. Borradaile is 200,000 acres of lush wetlands that teem with wildlife and is riddled with caves abundant in aboriginal cave paintings and artifacts. Over the next two days you will be guided by 4WD, boat and on foot to some of Arnhem Land’s most significant and intriguing art sites, including the Rainbow Serpent, one of the most potent symbols of aboriginal spiritualism. Recently, Max gave the camp a major upgrade, modernising the rooms to enhance the ambience of the secluded bush setting.
Accommodation: Max Davidson's Mt Borradaile

Days 4 & 5 Faraway Bay, Kimberley Coast Fly from the Mount Borradaile private airfield to Faraway Bay’s. There are no roads to get here and your nearest neighbour is over 150km away. Enjoy a private Kimberley coastal cruise to the King George Falls and explore some magnificent Bradshaw rock art sites. What’s more, we book the entire camp exclusively for your visit, with stunning views over the sparkling Timor Sea and a private chef you won’t want to leave! Accommodation: The Bush Camp at Faraway Bay

Days 6 & 7 Bullo River Station, East Kimberley This morning’s low level scenic flight over the astonishing formations of the Bungle Bungle is something special. Following this, we land direct at Bullo River Station’s airfield, literally a stone’s throw from the front door of the homestead. Made famous by the novels of Sara Henderson, a stay at Bullo River lends itself to a very genuine and personalised experience of life on an enormous cattle station with friendly hosts and comfortable accommodation. For the next two days 500,000 acres of Bullo River’s wetlands, escarpments, waterfalls and wilderness are yours to explore in a variety of means: 4WD, quad-bike, boat and even a ‘heli-picnic’ are included in your total experience.
Accommodation: Bullo River Station

Day 8 Uluru & William Creek Again, the performance of the Outback Jet will come into its own; within just two hours from Bullo River you will be enjoying a scenic circuit of ‘The Rock’ and the ‘Olgas’ before continuing to the tiny outback pub at William Creek for lunch. William Creek is the smallest town in South Australia, situated on the largest cattle station in the world, Anna Creek Station. From here it’s a short hop to the stylish Prairie Hotel, Parachilna your home for the next two nights.
Accommodation: The Prairie Hotel, Parachilna

Day 9 Prairie Hotel, Flinders Ranges Air Adventure has a long-standing relationship with the Prairie Hotel and while here you will be hosted by Ross Fargher, a fourth-generation grazier and co-owner of the Prairie Hotel. He will give you a great insight into the history and modern day life in this picturesque region between the ranges and the desert. The scenery is straight out of a Sir Hans Heysen painting. They have also carved out a reputation for their unique outback ‘feral’ cuisine and you will have the opportunity to sample it yourself.
Accommodation: The Prairie Hotel, Parachilna

Day 10 Lake Eyre A short flight up to the historic Ghan rail town of Marree to meet your guide, Reg Dodd, an Arabunna Elder and passionate local expert. Reg will take you along the Oodnadatta Track right to the shores of Lake Eyre South where you can either paddle in the shallows in the flood or crunch across the vast, horizonless landscape in the dry – both of which are a wonderful sensation. Reg will share the modern and ancient history of his locality and culture with you along the way. Then board the Outback Jet for the quick flight home.
