Accommodating just 18 passengers onboard the well appointed 25 metre cruise vessel, Kimberley Quest II, passengers can choose from a variety of cabin styles, each fully air-conditioned and with private ensuites. From humble beginnings in the Western Australian Rock Lobster industry, owner Jeff Ralston made a 'sea' change, moving to Broome in the early 90's. Starting off with a day fishing business, led to opportunities with a lucrative Pilot Boat contract and various other commercial activities within the Broome Township.
However, Jeff was keen to explore and expand his horizons - hence the 'birth' of the "Kimberley Quest'. Originally only 60ft long and accommodating 12 passengers with shared facilities, there was definite room for improvement. The new 'Kimberley Quest' was launched in 2000, being some 25 metres in length, equipped with heli-pad and capable of accommodating up to 18 passengers with four cabin types each with it's own ensuite, individual air-conditioning and bar fridge. It was the first Kimberley vessel operating that was fully ensuited and set the precedent for Kimberley cruising. With the business expanding rapidly due to the increased interest in the Kimberley and Pearl Sea Coastal Cruises reputation for quality service and its fantastic product, 'Kimberley Quest II' was launched in 2004.
Kimberley Quest II offers passengers a unique opportunity to experience the splendid isolation of the Kimberley in comfortable surrounds. Pearl Sea Coastal Cruises will concentrate on maximising customer service, providing the best expedition leaders and focusing more on the environment and indigineous culture of this land.
